Liquidity Pools
PancakeSwap Pools are liquidity provision tools on the PancakeSwap platform that allow users to deposit token pairs into pools and earn a share of trading fees. In the latest version (PancakeSwap Infinity / V3), liquidity providers can also choose to concentrate their liquidity into specific price ranges (also represented as non-fungible positions), which makes capital use more efficient and potentially increases earnings, though with the tradeoff of higher impermanent loss risk if the price moves outside the chosen range. Pools also come with fee tiers (static or dynamic), and rewards are tied both to liquidity provided and the amount of trading activity in the pool.

PancakeSwap Perpetuals V2 is a fully on-chain perpetual futures trading feature that lets users take leveraged long or short positions on various assets without any fixed expiry dates. It removes the need for traditional order books by consolidating liquidity into an ALP pool, which supports all trading pairs — improving capital efficiency and enabling deeper liquidity. The system leverages multiple oracle feeds (such as Pyth, Binance Oracle, and Chainlink) to ensure reliable price data. Users trade directly from their own wallets, maintaining self-custody, and there are no mandatory deposits or withdrawals beyond managing margin and handling liquidations. The platform supports different trading modes (e.g. classic, degen, dumb) and offers markets ranging from crypto pairs to Forex pairs.
Prediction Markets
PancakeSwap Prediction is a gamified feature on the PancakeSwap platform that allows users to predict short-term price movements of popular cryptocurrencies like BNB, BTC, and ETH. Each round lasts only a few minutes, during which participants stake tokens to forecast whether the price will go up or down. Winners share the prize pool, making it a fast-paced and interactive way to engage with the market while earning rewards.
