Azimut Yachts

Azimut Yachts is an Italian manufacturer of luxury motor yachts headquartered in Avigliana, near Turin, Italy. Founded in 1969 by Paolo Vitelli, the company has grown from a small boat charter business into the parent brand of the Azimut-Benetti Group, the largest privately held luxury yacht manufacturer in the world by volume and revenue. Azimut produces a wide range of motor yachts from approximately 34 feet to over 30 meters, organized into several collections: the Atlantis line of sporty open cruisers, the core Azimut flybridge and S collections, the Magellano long-range cruising series, and the Grande collection of composite superyachts. The company's Avigliana headquarters houses its design, engineering, and prototyping operations, while production takes place at facilities in Viareggio and Savona, Italy, as well as a facility in Itajai, Brazil, for selected models destined for the South American market. Azimut has been a pioneer in the application of advanced composite materials and construction techniques in yacht building, including carbon fiber structural elements and D2P (Displacement to Planing) dual-mode hull designs developed for the Magellano range. The company collaborates with prominent Italian and international designers for both exterior styling and interior design, maintaining a distinctly Italian aesthetic characterized by contemporary lines and luxurious finishes. Azimut Yachts maintains a global sales and service network spanning over 70 countries, with a particularly strong presence in the Mediterranean, the Americas, and the Asia-Pacific region. The Azimut-Benetti Group remains under the ownership and chairmanship of founder Paolo Vitelli.
