Rhude is a Los Angeles-based luxury streetwear label founded in 2015 by Filipino-American designer Rhuigi Villasenor. The brand gained early attention with a bandana-print T-shirt and has grown into a full ready-to-wear house that blends American street culture, vintage motorsport references, and tailored luxury construction.

Signature pieces include the Traxedo pant, a hybrid of track pant and tuxedo trouser, rayon bowling shirts, racing-inspired graphics, varsity jackets, and premium knitwear. Rhude has shown collections at Paris Fashion Week and produced collaborations with partners including Puma, McLaren Formula 1, Thierry Lasry eyewear, and Lamborghini. Villasenor was a finalist for the LVMH Prize in 2020 and briefly served as creative director of Bally.

The brand is headquartered in Los Angeles, with production largely carried out in the United States and Italy. Rhude sells through its own e-commerce platform, its flagship retail presence in Los Angeles, and luxury retailers worldwide.

Rhude's Traxedo pant is a genuinely clever bit of design thinking, a hybrid that literalizes the brand's whole thesis of splicing American street culture with tailored formality, and it remains the clearest expression of Rhuigi Villasenor's design point of view. The vintage motorsport references, running through the racing graphics, varsity jackets, and Lamborghini and McLaren F1 collaborations, give the brand a coherent visual identity that reads more considered than opportunistic logo-chasing. Villasenor's 2020 LVMH Prize finalist recognition and brief stint as Bally's creative director lend the label credibility within the broader luxury fashion establishment, which is unusual validation for a brand this young in the streetwear space. Construction and fabric quality are solid without being exceptional, appropriate for the category but not competing with the fabric research of a brand like Stone Island. Rhude's Paris Fashion Week presence signals ambition beyond streetwear-adjacent labeling, though the collection can feel more reliant on graphic and motorsport motifs than on structural innovation. Pricing sits at a real premium relative to the actual materials involved, banking on brand narrative and cultural cachet. A stylish, well-conceived label, if still working to earn the heritage weight of its price point.
