The extended-wheelbase body provides cavernous interior space with seating for eight, making it genuinely practical for large families or executive transport. The 6.2L V8 delivers 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque with effortless authority, and the 10-speed automatic shifts imperceptibly. The centerpiece is the stunning 38-inch curved OLED dashboard display, which sets the technology benchmark for the segment. Cadillac Super Cruise hands-free driving on compatible highways is the best semi-autonomous system available today. Build quality in the cabin is excellent with premium leather and real wood throughout. At $83,490, it actually represents reasonable value against the Mercedes GLS and BMW X7 in comparable trim. The downsides are significant though: 14/19 mpg fuel economy is punishing, the sheer size makes urban parking a genuine challenge, and the third row, while usable, still cannot match a minivan for access.
