Loewe Home Scents is the home fragrance division of Loewe, the Spanish luxury fashion house founded in 1846 in Madrid. Loewe is owned by LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the French luxury conglomerate, which acquired the brand in 1996. The home scents line was launched in 2021 under the creative direction of Jonathan Anderson, who has served as Loewe's creative director since 2013.
The Loewe Home Scents collection is organized around botanical themes, with each fragrance designed to evoke a specific plant, vegetable, or natural material. The candles are packaged in terra cotta-colored ceramic vessels, a departure from the glass containers typical of most luxury candle brands. The ceramic pots are designed as reusable objects and reflect Anderson's broader interest in craft and materiality, which has defined his tenure at Loewe.
The fragrance range includes scents such as Oregano, Tomato Leaves, Luscious Pea, Honeysuckle, Beetroot, Cypress Balls, Ivy, and Coriander. Each is composed by perfumer Nuria Cruelles and aims to capture the true botanical essence of its subject rather than a conventionally perfumed interpretation. Products include candles in small (170g) and medium (610g) sizes, wax diffusers shaped like plant forms, and room sprays.
Loewe Home Scents distributes through Loewe's own flagship stores in major cities including Madrid, Paris, London, New York, and Tokyo, as well as through the Loewe e-commerce platform and select luxury department stores. The line has received significant critical attention for its unconventional approach to home fragrance, with its emphasis on naturalistic, garden-inspired scents rather than traditional perfumery compositions.
