Rimac Automobili

Rimac Automobili is a Croatian electric hypercar manufacturer and automotive technology company founded by Mate Rimac in 2009, headquartered in Sveta Nedelja, near Zagreb, Croatia. The company began as an electric vehicle startup and has grown into both a hypercar manufacturer and a major supplier of electric drivetrain components and battery systems to other automakers. Rimac's production vehicle, the Nevera, is one of the fastest-accelerating production cars ever built, producing 1,914 horsepower from four electric motors and achieving 0 to 60 mph in 1.85 seconds. The Nevera features a 120 kWh battery pack, a top speed of 258 mph, and a range of approximately 340 miles. In 2021, Rimac merged with Bugatti under the Bugatti Rimac joint venture, with Rimac Group holding a 55 percent stake and Porsche AG holding 45 percent. This arrangement made Rimac responsible for Bugatti's operations and future product development. The company's technology division supplies high-voltage battery systems, electric drivetrains, and related components to manufacturers including Porsche, Hyundai, Aston Martin, and Pininfarina. Rimac has constructed a new 200,000-square-meter campus on the outskirts of Zagreb to consolidate its hypercar production, technology development, and corporate operations. Production of the Nevera is limited to 150 units total, each extensively customizable through the company's bespoke configuration program.
