The company is part of the Haworth Group, which acquired it through its ownership of the Poltrona Frau Group. Cassina holds a distinctive position in the furniture industry as the sole licensed manufacturer of furniture designs by several pioneering modernist architects, including Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Gerrit Rietveld, and Frank Lloyd Wright.
