Gordon Murray Automotive is a British supercar manufacturer founded in 2017 by Professor Gordon Murray, the designer of the McLaren F1 road car and numerous Formula 1 championship-winning cars for Brabham and McLaren. The company is part of the Gordon Murray Group, headquartered in Windlesham, Surrey, where a purpose-built headquarters and production campus opened in 2024.
The company's first model, the T.50, is positioned as a spiritual successor to the McLaren F1. It features a central driving position, a 3.9-litre Cosworth V12 that revs to over 12,000 rpm, a manual gearbox, a weight of under 1,000 kg, and a rear-mounted fan that actively manages aerodynamics. Production is limited to 100 units priced from 2.36 million pounds before taxes, all of which sold out before production began. A track-only T.50s Niki Lauda edition is limited to 25 examples.
The follow-up T.33, also V12-powered and limited to 100 units per body style, extends the range with coupe, Spider, and estate-style variants. Every car is hand-assembled in Surrey with an emphasis on lightweight engineering, analogue driver engagement, and long-term collectability.
Sales are handled directly and through a small network of appointed retail partners worldwide, with each commission individually specified by the customer.
