Seabourn is an ultra-luxury cruise line founded in 1987, currently headquartered in Seattle, Washington. The line is a brand within the Carnival Corporation portfolio, the world's largest cruise company. Seabourn operates a fleet of intimate ships designed to access smaller ports and harbors that larger vessels cannot reach.
The fleet includes Seabourn Ovation, Seabourn Encore, Seabourn Quest, Seabourn Sojourn, and Seabourn Odyssey, as well as the purpose-built expedition vessels Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit, which entered service in 2022 and 2023 respectively. The classic ships carry approximately 450 to 600 guests in all-suite, all-veranda configurations, while the expedition ships accommodate approximately 264 guests and are equipped with submarines, Zodiac landing craft, and dedicated expedition teams.
Seabourn's service model emphasizes a high crew-to-guest ratio and a no-tipping-required policy. Fares include gourmet dining across multiple restaurants, premium beverages, and a curated Ventures by Seabourn shore excursion program. The culinary program is developed in partnership with chef Thomas Keller, whose influence extends across all onboard dining venues. The line's Spa & Wellness program is operated in partnership with Dr. Andrew Weil's integrative health philosophy.
Seabourn itineraries cover the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, Asia, Australia, and expedition destinations including the Antarctic, the Arctic, and remote Pacific islands. Per-person fares for standard suites typically start above $4,000 for a seven-night voyage.
