Embraer Executive Jets is the business aviation division of Embraer S.A., the Brazilian aerospace manufacturer founded in 1969 and headquartered in Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil. Embraer is the world's third-largest producer of civil aircraft, and its executive jets division entered the market in the early 2000s with the Legacy 600 before developing a full family of clean-sheet business jets.
The current portfolio comprises the entry-level Phenom 100EX, the Phenom 300E light jet, and the Praetor 500 and Praetor 600 midsize and super-midsize jets. The Phenom 300 series has been the world's best-selling light jet for more than a decade, and the Praetor 600 offers intercontinental range with full fly-by-wire controls and active turbulence reduction. Cabins are developed with attention to design detail, including the Bossa Nova interior scheme, and offer features such as stone flooring and altitude comfort among the lowest in their classes.
Executive jets are assembled in Brazil and at Embraer's US facility in Melbourne, Florida. The division serves private owners, corporate flight departments, charter operators, and fractional fleets, with fractional providers among its largest customers.
Sales and support are handled through Embraer's global network, with service centers and authorized facilities across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
