Wilson Audio Specialties is an American manufacturer of high-end loudspeakers founded in 1974 by David A. Wilson and Sheryl Lee Wilson, and headquartered in Provo, Utah, where all of its loudspeakers are built. The company remains family-owned and is led by Daryl Wilson, son of the founders.
Wilson Audio established its reputation with the WAMM (Wilson Audio Modular Monitor) and the WATT/Puppy, a compact monitor and woofer system that became one of the most commercially significant high-end loudspeakers of its era. The current range spans from the Sasha and Alexia lines to the large-format Alexx V and Chronosonic XVX, with the WAMM Master Chronosonic serving as the historic flagship. Prices run from five figures to several hundred thousand dollars per pair.
