The 2025 Cadillac Optiq is the brand's new entry point into electric luxury, a five-seat compact SUV positioned below the Lyriq and aimed squarely at the Tesla Model Y, Audi Q4 e-tron, and Genesis GV60. Every Optiq comes standard with an 85 kWh Ultium battery and dual-motor all-wheel drive producing 300 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque, good for a 0-60 mph run of around 5.9 seconds and an EPA-estimated 302 miles of range. DC fast charging adds roughly 79 miles in 10 minutes, and one-pedal driving plus Regen on Demand come standard. The design translates Cadillac's electric styling language to a smaller footprint, with slim vertical lighting, a fastback roofline, and available two-tone finishes in Luxury and Sport trims. Inside, a 33-inch curved LED display spans the dash, running Google built-in software, and the cabin features a standard panoramic fixed-glass roof, a 19-speaker AKG audio system with Dolby Atmos, and patterned accent fabric made partly from recycled materials. Cadillac's Super Cruise hands-free driving assistance is available with a subscription-free introductory period. Pricing starts at $54,390 for the Luxury 1 trim, with the Sport 2 topping the range near $57,000, making the Optiq one of the more aggressively priced luxury EVs relative to its standard equipment.
