The Deluxe version upgrades the original's textilene to padded 600D polyester with lumbar support, on an aluminum frame rated to 275 lb. Owners who tan or read on their front tend to become evangelists; no conventional chair replicates what it does. The compromises: at 11 lb and a 36-inch folded length it is genuinely bulky to carry, the 90-day warranty is the shortest of any major beach chair brand, and in normal upright mode it is merely adequate, with a low seat and less back support than a purpose-built recliner.
