Sea Eagle 370 Sport

4.0
product Overall
The 370 Sport has been the default recommendation for first-time inflatable buyers for years, and the reasons hold up. Packages start around $300 with two paddles, a pump, and seats included; capacity is an enormous 650 pounds across three seating positions; the 32-pound hull is a one-hand carry; and Sea Eagle backs even this cheapest boat with the same three-year warranty and 180-day trial as its flagship — coverage no other budget kayak approaches. Twin molded skegs keep tracking respectable, and the hull handles up to Class III moving water within reason. The construction is where the price shows. The 38-mil K80 Polykrylar hull is unreinforced vinyl — tough for what it is, but a different material class from the 380x's 1000-denier fabric — and without a drop-stitch floor the boat flexes and bows under two adults, costing speed and making long crossings a slog. The stock seats offer minimal support, and the wide-open cockpit ships spray in wind. It ranks eighth because everything above it paddles meaningfully better; it stays ahead of the Intex boats because the warranty, capacity, and hull material are all a clear grade up for barely more money.
