The 2025 Genesis GV60 is the Korean luxury brand's first dedicated electric vehicle, a compact SUV built on the Hyundai Motor Group's 800-volt E-GMP platform shared with the Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, but wrapped in more expressive, coupe-like styling and a plusher cabin. For 2025 the lineup expands to three trims. The rear-wheel-drive Standard model uses a single motor with 225 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque and delivers the longest EPA range at 294 miles; Standard AWD and Advanced AWD dual-motor versions produce 314 horsepower, while the flagship Performance makes 429 horsepower, rising to 483 with a 10-second Boost mode, and reaches 60 mph in about four seconds. The 800-volt architecture enables 350 kW DC charging that takes the 77.4 kWh battery from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 18 minutes. The interior showcases Genesis design flourishes such as the rotating Crystal Sphere shift ball, dual 12.3-inch displays, available facial-recognition entry and fingerprint start, and a Bang & Olufsen audio system. Standard equipment includes a full suite of driver assistance features with Highway Driving Assist II. Pricing starts at $52,350 for the Standard RWD and reaches about $69,900 for the Performance. The GV60 competes with the Cadillac Optiq, Volvo XC40 Recharge, and Audi Q4 e-tron in the compact luxury EV segment.
