The Silver Peak acquisition bolstered the SD-WAN portfolio meaningfully. Under HPE ownership, Aruba benefits from enterprise sales channels and financial stability while maintaining engineering independence. The weaknesses are primarily competitive and commercial. Cisco remains the dominant enterprise networking brand with deeper integration across switching, security, and collaboration.
