Launched in 2017 and operated by a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, the service connects with participating retailers including iTunes, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play, Vudu, and others, allowing users to access their purchased movies from any connected platform.
Movies Anywhere supports content from major studios including Walt Disney Studios, Sony Pictures, Universal Pictures, Warner Bros., and Lionsgate. The platform offers its own storefront for purchasing movies, as well as free content through its Screen Pass feature.
