Puig is a Spanish beauty and fashion group founded in Barcelona in 1914 by Antonio Puig Castello. Long family-owned and now led by the third generation of the Puig family, the company completed an initial public offering on the Spanish stock exchanges in 2024, one of the largest European listings of that year, with the family retaining voting control.
The group is organized across fragrance and fashion, makeup, and skincare divisions. Its owned brands include Rabanne, Carolina Herrera, Jean Paul Gaultier, Nina Ricci, and Dries Van Noten in fashion and fragrance; the niche perfumery houses Byredo, Penhaligon's, and L'Artisan Parfumeur; the makeup brand Charlotte Tilbury, in which Puig acquired a majority stake in 2020; and skincare and wellness brands including Uriage and Apivita. Puig also produces licensed fragrances and holds a stake in the Kama Ayurveda brand.
Puig is one of the largest players in global prestige perfumery, with several of the world's best-selling fragrance franchises, and has expanded deliberately into niche perfumery and premium makeup as those segments have grown. The company reports revenue in the billions of euros, generated across more than one hundred fifty markets.
Headquartered in the Puig Tower in Barcelona's Plaza Europa, the group emphasizes its identity as a family company with a long-term ownership horizon, and publishes sustainability commitments across ingredients, packaging, and emissions.
