Ruffoni is an Italian copper cookware maker founded in 1962 in Omegna, on Lake Orta in Piedmont, a region with a long tradition of metal cookware manufacturing. The company remains a family business, with successive generations of the Ruffoni family leading production.
The brand is known for hammered copper pots and pans finished by hand, many decorated with ornamental cast handles and finials in the shape of vegetables, fruit, and acorns. Collections include tin-lined copper made in the traditional manner, copper with stainless steel linings, and clad stainless steel lines. Each hammered piece passes through the hands of coppersmiths who shape and finish it individually, and signature pieces are stamped or engraved.
Ruffoni cookware is produced in Italy and distributed internationally through premium kitchenware retailers, department stores, and the brand's own e-commerce sites serving Europe and North America.
