The workflow is beautifully simple: weigh beans, drop them in, grind directly into your portafilter. The compact footprint and attractive design make it genuinely pleasant to have on a countertop. However, it's not without trade-offs. Conical burrs produce a wider particle distribution than flat burrs, which some espresso purists find limiting for light roasts. The stepless grind adjustment can also make it fiddly to dial in precisely, and at its price point, you're paying a premium partly for the brand's pioneering status. Still, for most home baristas who want a fuss-free, low-retention grinder that handles both espresso and filter competently, it remains an excellent choice.
